Our Farm is ideally situated just a few minutes from Healesville, in the heart of the Yarra Valley’s food and wine district. To help you plan your stay with us, we have put together a selection of must see’s and do’s from the region!

Healesville Sanctuary

Healesville Sanctuary is home to more than 200 species of native birds, mammals and reptiles, all within in a beautiful bushland setting. Visitors can experience close encounters with kangaroos, koalas, dingoes and echidnas. There is several cafes and picnic grounds located within the zoo.

Healesville Town

Healesville has been a tourist destination since the 1880s. Whether you’re in the mood for a restaurant, a place to have a drink, or a shopping spree, you will find what you’re looking for in this small town just a few minutes away from the Farm!

The 1st Sunday of each month, enjoy the Healesville Community Market and stock up on fresh regional produce from the huge range of local growers and suppliers.

Badger Weir Loop Walk

Yarra Valley Railway

The Yarra Valley Railway is a heritage railway operating from Healesville to Lilydale. During 35 minutes, you will be transported back in time! It’s a wonderful route to enjoy for a lovely break.

TarraWarra Museum of Art

The TarraWarra Museum of Art is the place to be for a morning of art and culture. With its collections of paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings from the 1930s to the present day, explore Australian figurative and abstract art.

Eating / Drinks

There are many of restaurants, bars and cafés in Healesville. Whether you’re in the mood for a place to have breakfast (or an all-day breakfast at the Beechworth Bakery), a bistro for dinner with live music or a beer garden for a drink, you’ll find hat you are looking for in Healesville. Wineries Tour

One of the wonders of the Yarra Valley is its vineyards. Dicover the places for which this region is famous, and enjoy a drink in a wonderful setting. In some wineries, you can also taste cheese, chocolate or gin!

Maroondah Reservoir Park

A perfect place for picnics, relaxing walks and dramatic photos! The impressive 41-metre high dam wall offers a scenic lookout over formal gardens, forested slopes and the broad, peaceful reservoir lake. Maroondah features gardens with stands of native and exotic trees, native animals and birds and walking tracks. Its playground, lawns and cool summer shade make it a popular picnic destination in warmer months.

Yarra Ranges National Park

Situated between Melbourne and the Victorian Alps, the Yarra Ranges National Park is a place of epic views, majestic rainforest scenery and fun-packed snowplay. Enjoy the panorama from Mount Donna Buang, or go deeper into the park on the Black Spur Drive, and wind through towering Mountain Ash forests to Lake Mountain.
